Emails & templates

Build reusable templates and one-off sends with a block editor, then send now or schedule to a list.

By the end you'll be able to
  • Build an email from blocks, or drop to raw HTML when you need to
  • Personalise with tokens that fill in per recipient
  • Send to a list on a schedule, and get it through approval
  • Read the performance of a send afterwards

  1. A template is meant to be reused — by sequences, workflows and campaigns. A one-off email is a single send to a list. The two tabs at the top of the Emails page keep them apart.

Good to know
  • Unsubscribed, bounced and complained contacts are skipped automatically, whatever list they are on.
  • Scheduled means scheduled: the send happens at that time, in full, with no batching or warm-up spreading.
  • A planned date is not a scheduled date. It pencils a draft onto the calendar and never sends — only "Schedule for later" commits the send.
  • Sending needs a verified domain and a From address set up for the brand.
  • A send can only start once. If it is already sending — because someone clicked Send, or its schedule just fired — a second attempt is turned away instead of delivering to anyone twice.
  • A button only becomes a clickable link if its address starts with https:// (or http://). Anything else — a bare "example.com", or a pasted script — still shows the label but is not a link, so check the button in the preview if it stops working.
