By the end you'll be able to
- Edit a draft by describing the change instead of hand-editing blocks
- Undo any change, and know which version was approved
- Tell restyling, refining and regenerating apart
Walk through it
0 of 5 steps done0%
Open a draft email or LinkedIn post and type what you want different in the Refine box. Only what you ask for changes — the rest of the piece is left exactly as it was.
Good to know
- Approval is pinned to a version. Change a piece after it was approved and the approval clears, so it has to be read again before it can go out.
- Refining is not regeneration. It patches the piece you have; regenerating would throw the copy away and write something new.
- Sent emails and published posts cannot be refined — the version history is then a record of what went out.
- Asking for an image change generates or edits a real picture, which takes a few seconds longer than a wording change.
