By the end you'll be able to
  • Read the marketing calendar without leaving Zenia
  • Draft the email or LinkedIn post a planned activity calls for
  • See at a glance what is planned, drafted, approved and done

Walk through it

  1. An admin opens the marketing calendar in SharePoint, copies its share link, and pastes it under Settings → Marketing calendar. Zenia reads the worksheet with the week-number and start-date rows — the wide one where each column is a week.

Good to know
  • The spreadsheet stays in charge. Zenia re-reads it every fifteen minutes and never edits your rows.
  • Plan shows the brand you are currently in. One workbook can carry several brands — switch brand to see another plan.
  • Activities are pinned to a WEEK, not a day, because that is all the sheet says. Drafting one pencils it in for the Tuesday of that week; you can move it before it sends.
  • If a row disappears from the sheet it is marked "removed from sheet", never deleted. Anything already drafted or approved for it survives.
  • Renaming a lane in the spreadsheet starts a new activity and retires the old one. Retitling the activity text inside a lane is safe — the drafts stay attached.
  • Reading the workbook needs Zenia’s Microsoft 365 app to be granted access to the SharePoint site by a Global Admin. Connecting Microsoft 365 for calendars does not grant it. Until it is granted, the settings page says exactly that instead of failing quietly.
  • Writing status back into the workbook needs the read/write form of the same grant, so it can be turned on separately once reading works.
